This is U-CDX Sunapee Koma-Inu Bara Chiyo Am/Can CDX. She is a Belle daughter and is loved by Nancy and David Topp.
U-CH Sunapee Koma-Inu Gotta Be Mie. She's also AKC pointed, and has one leg toward her UKC CD.
Mie shares her home with Chiyo, above.
This is AOM Am/Can Ch Sunapee Koma-Inu Expose, CGC. Expo was the first show dog for owners Pam & Del Greskowiak. In her one litter of 5, she produced two champions with a third one pointed.
Expo is a sibling to Sunapee's Ember No Koma-Inu.
Sunapee's Moonlite & Roses as a puppy. Rosie is owned by Hugh Jamieson and is one of the Spenser x Ember kids from the "Lite" litter.
Expo's "kids", sired by Ch. Koma-Inu Keep On Bruin: Ch. Stargaze Sunapee Voyager, Stargaze Sunapee Titan and Am/Can Ch. Stargaze Sunapee Sputnik
This was Ch. Koma-Inu Sweet Liberty. Libby had more presence in the ring than any dog I've ever shown. She is the dam of Mie above.
Sadly, Libby died very unexpectedly at 5-1/2 years old while going into labor for her third litter.
This is Ch. Sunapee Koma-Inu Daydreamer. She's a sibling of Kosen, Ch. Sunapee's Dansu No Koma-Inu. Dreamer is still quite the character at 11 years young!
Sad update: We had to let Dreamer go on her journey to the bridge. I know she's leading the barking there now, and greeting her sister and brother gone before her. 3/2/91 - 12/23/02.

Kyrie Moment of Suspense, a Spenser daughter bred by Jim Scholten
This is Bonsai's I'm No Angel, aka Rowdy, owned by Kathy Camp. Rowdy is another Spenser daughter who really enjoys agility and obedience!
Our Extended Akita Family
This was Winston, much loved by Pam Greskowiak. He was Pam's introduction to Akitas, and he is still sadly missed.
And this was Hoover, who despite being bigger than his "mom" Jenifer Glassel, always thought he was a lap dog until he passed away. He too is still sadly missed.
I'll lend you for a little while
My grandest dog He said.
For you to love while she's alive
And mourn for when she's dead.
It may be one or twenty years,
Or days or months, you see.
But, will you, 'til I take her back,
Take care of her for Me?
She'll bring charms to gladden you,
And should her stay be brief
You'll have treasured memories
As solace for your grief.
I cannot promise she will stay,
Since all from earth return.
But, there are lessons taught on earth
I want this dog to learn.
I've looked the wide world over
In My search for teachers true.
And from the throngs that crowd life's lanes
With trust I've selected you.
Now will you give her your total love?
Nor think the labor vain,
Nor hate Me when I come
To take her back again?
I know you'll give her tenderness
And love will bloom each day.
And for the happiness you've known
Forever grateful stay.
But should I come and call for her
Much sooner than you'd planned
You'll brave the bitter grief that comes
And someday you'll understand.
